Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble Enlists Reynolds – Allentown’s Help

Bloomsburg Theater Ensemble (BTE) at Bloomsburg College enlisted the help of Reynolds Advanced Materials – Allentown for their production of Skin & Bones by Jacqueline Goldfinger.

“Skin & Bones is considered to be a comedy depending on where each person draws the line between funny and sick” – Philadelphia City Paper writer Johanna Austin, states.

Jeff Leighton, the mold maker and caster on the show was challenged with creating a realistic (Spoiler Alert) severed head of one of the lead characters for the final scene. Jeff decided on using Smooth-On’s Body Double® silicone to create a life cast of actress Laurie McCants. Stage Manager and Makeup artist A’nie Kirchner could not have been more thrilled with the final piece (seen in the green sweater).

The show ran on the BTE stage March 12th – 29th of 2015. To Learn More about the BTE click here.
