Translucent Silicone Rubber

Mold Max® 10T, 15T and 27T silicone are water white translucent tin cured silicone rubber compounds that have exceptional tear strength and working properties. They feature Smooth-On’s “Libra®” catalyst for long library life. An infinite number of color effects can be achieved by adding Silc Pig® silicone pigments, Ignite® line of liquid fluorescent colorants or Cast Magic® effects powders.

NOTE: Mold Max® T series silicones should NOT be used to make molds for casting Crystal Clear® Series resins or Clear Flex® rubber.

A release agent may be required to remove cured silicone rubber from glass, silicone, or some other surfaces. Many surfaces need to be sealed before applying silicone rubber.

This material has a by-weight mix ratio. An accurate gram scale is recommended.

It is recommended to vacuum this material to remove entrapped air.

Vacuum Chambers

This material is not compatible with sulfur-based modeling clay.
