Gypsona™ Plaster Bandages
Gypsona Plaster Bandages remain the industry standard for making a fast, strong support shell, especially in lifecasting applications. Gypsona Bandages are immersed in water and layered over cured Body Double™ and Body Double™ SILK silicone mold rubber, Alja-Safe™ Acrobat and Accu-Cast™ BodyGel™ 880 and FaceGel™ 590 alginates. The bandages dry and form a rigid support shell (or “mother mold”) that holds the rubber mold in shape during the casting process.
