Scott J, Moore is the latest customer to be featured in Reynolds – Orlando’s spotlight. Scott is the owner, creative director, and head sculptor at Moore Art Expressions (MAE). His company is based in Port Charlotte, Florida. Over the past year, Scott has been expanding MAE in more ways than one, relying on Reynolds Advanced Materials in Orlando for the materials needed to make incredible things.
One of his more recent projects has been the creation of the “Superheroes on Parade” campaign. The campaign features a dog statue with a cape wrapped around their neck, to indicate that people’s dogs are not only their pets, but can also function as everyday support. For this application Scott used Mold Max® 30 silicone rubber as his molding material and casts his final pieces using Forton® 812 MG; a alpha gypsum additive.
MAE has also been working on a project called “Squirrel Adventure.” For this piece, the team had to work on squirrels playing around in a nearby playground. They also created interesting, playful tiles.
