Customer Project Spotlight – Kaleb Hoppe

Published

Reynolds Advanced Materials in Los Angeles has their spotlight focused on Kaleb Ryan Hoppe, a sculptor who just completed his first commissioned job. Kaleb utilized Reynolds Advanced Materials in Los Angeles as his full-line distributor for information and materials.

At Reynolds – L.A., Kaleb was able to discuss his project with their staff to find out what materials he may need. After discussing, Kaleb decided on Smooth-On’s Brush–On 40 urethane rubber to create his mold, and Plasti-Paste II – a specialized urethane plastic – for his support shell. Finally, Kaleb chose Smooth-On’s Forton VF 744  polymer, which mixes with concrete to create  a very strong, weather resistant casting.

Kaleb’s statue is named “The Little Mayan” and is on display at the Hotel Maya in Long Beach.
