Reynolds Advanced Materials – Phoenix had the opportunity of a lifetime… to travel back 3000 years. Michael Lee, an excavator, unearthed a 3000-year-old archeological field in Pima County in Tucson, Arizona.
Michael reached out to Reynolds in search of material to mold some of the timeless artifacts found. He ended up using Smooth-On’s Mold Max® 30 silicone rubber. It is believed by Michael, that the field stretches about 75 to 100 acres.
At this point, Pima County has not determined what they will do with the casts.
