About Us

The Inspired Ornamental team has worked on hundreds of projects over a combined fifty years of experience. They have worked throughout Boston’s Back Bay, Beacon Hill, South End and all over New England.

The Artisans at Inspired Ornamental offer a vast array of services. Our specialties include new custom plaster crown molding, restoration of existing, historic preservation, decorative and ornamental statement ceilings, ceiling medallions, Life Casting as well as model and mold creation.

Our team has the capability of molding everything and anything. Once the mold is created castings can be cast and pulled from the mold. Molds can be created from either Urethane or Silicone rubber depending on the material being cast from the mold. Our team works with the best builders, renovators, architects and designers in Boston and around all surrounding communities.

Some of the projects we have created models, molds and castings for are 1,200 plaster skulls for Lolita Cocina and Tequila Bar vaulted ceiling on the Fort Point Channel, Statuary for the Vermont State Troopers, Plaster enrichments for the restoration of The Cabot Theater, Capitals and Arches for St Mary’s Church to large ten foot by four foot molds for out-door kitchen panels.
