Don Anthony of Allentown, PA, is the owner of Laser Rack Inc., the manufacturer of a device which measures the weight and reps of power lifters. The main focus of the device is contained in a hand-held control that measurers the movement of the barbells with Infra Red wavelengths.

Anthony came to Smooth-On many years ago in search of a suitable material to make the control box.  After many material trials, Anthony chose C-1520® based on its impact resistance.

The C-1520® is cast into a mold made from Mold Max® 30, and he uses Mann's Ease Release® 200 to facilitate the release. C-1520® is tough and durable, giving the device the ability to withstand repeated drops.
