A Better Way To Spray Sealers & Release Agents

The Kwikee® Sprayer from Smooth-On is Refillable, Rechargeable, and Completely Portable!

Smooth-On’s Mann Release Technologies Division sells thousands of cans of aerosol release agent every year. Some customers purchase 50 - 60 cases of release agent for a single project, unaware that these release agents are available in liquid or "bulk" form.

While convenient, aerosols are an inefficient and expensive way to deliver release agents compared to brushing on or spraying on liquid releases. We introduce the Kwikee®sprayer as an economical alternative to aerosols. It is a faster, labor-saving way to cover large models or molds and delivers sealing agent or release agent in a fine mist. For large projects, the Kwikee®sprayer eliminates the problem of aerosol plume in the air. By incorporating the Kwikee®sprayer into your process you are also helping the environment by reducing the number of aerosol cans that end up in a landfill.

Even for the average "small-time" mold maker, aerosols will still represent the best value. For production settings, the cost of the Kwikee®sprayer will pay for itself after a single use in terms of material cost and labor savings you will experience using liquid release agents vs. aerosols.

The Kwikee®sprayer features metal construction, brass nozzles, and corrosion-resistant internal working parts. Kwikee®sprayers can be used with oil and solvent-based materials.

NOTE: Make sure you observe all safety precautions when using the Kwikee®, especially when spraying flammable sealers and release agents.

6 - Charge the sprayer with compressed air by holding a standard air chuck on the valve stem of the filler cap. Hold the air chuck on the filler cap until you hear the line pressure equalize with the sprayer.

7 - Working pressure is 80 - 120 psi. At least 80 psi. is needed to spray the full 32 oz. without a recharge of air. The maximum pressure should not exceed 200 psi. The Kwikee® sprayer is now ready to use.
